Ethics of Digitization

The research project aims at developing concrete policy suggestions on organizational and state level that help to deal with the numerous ethical challenges caused by digitization. The first research string is related to the question of how Human-Computer-Interactions should be designed in a world where numerous decisions with moral consequences are taken in digital environments. The second research string focuses on societal resistances against digitization that are often caused by prejudices against the use of computers in novel domains.
