Carmen Löfflad

Carmen Löfflad is a PhD student at the Chair of Cyber Trust.

She is involved in the research project “Learning from the ‘Frontrunner’? A Multidisciplinary Analysis of the Chinese Social Credit System and its Impact on Germany” of the Bavarian Research Institute for Digital Transformation (bidt).

 

Her research investigates the implications of modern reputation and social scoring systems. Her specific interests include understanding the intended and unintended consequences of social scoring, and exploring how data-driven technologies can be used to achieve socially beneficial effects.

 

She earned a Master of Science in Management & Technology from the Technical University of Munich and a Bachelor of Arts in European Business from the Technical University of Applied Sciences in Regensburg.
